How is your adopted pet doing? Roxie is doing well! She is going into week four of her training. She had a great baseline as Chynna her foster Mom was working with her. Still working on her not being so much in the kitty’s business and stealing their toys. She loves bones and squeaky toys! She is a great snuggler and I adore her!

Pet’s AARF Name: Mocha
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Moke
How is your adopted pet doing? Moke is a rock star. He has fit in seamlessly with his new brothers Fargo and Malachai. Of course being the youngest of the 3, he keeps them on their toes … and wears them out. He loves his toys. We live above my grooming salon so a new one makes it’s way upstairs every morning. He’s also adept at playing cards. Most importantly he brings his mom much joy and is loved beyond measure. Thanks aarf and foster mom Karen!

Happy Tails For Magic
When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 3/12/22
Pet’s AARF Name: Magic
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Louie
How is your adopted pet doing? Louie (Magic) is doing wonderfully!! He was a little apprehensive his first couple days (especially getting to experience a PA snow storm his 1st day here!), but he adapted quickly and has settled into his fur-ever home nicely! He loves going on walks (often with a stick in his mouth) and meeting all the neighbors and neighborhood dogs! (He already has a crush on the Shih-tzu mix next door!) And Louie is working on learning new commands and tricks, too.
He’s been to the vet for an “introduction” and for his Lyme vaccine (Lyme disease is big here in central PA), and he’s already grown a little (longer, not taller) and put on a few lbs! We can’t get over how “chill” Louie is! He seldom barks (unless startled) and gives a little “woof” if he hears something he doesn’t recognized (he alerted me that the repairman was here before I heard the doorbell!) He’s such a little snuggle-bug and LOVES to jump up on our laps when invited for cuddle time! We are so thankful to everyone at A.A.R.F. for giving us such a wonderful new family member! He is a perfect fit for us and we look forward to many fun adventures together! And a special thank you to his foster family – we can tell how much love you gave him!
Happy Tails For Rosie
When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: January 22nd 2022
Pet’s AARF Name: Rosie
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Josie
How is your adopted pet doing? Josie is absolutely thriving in our home. When we got her she was such a nervous pup at first, but once she got used to knowing she was finally home she started to show her personality and she is night and day from that scared puppy we met on day one. She enjoys her bones and playing with her stuffies. She does have three cat brothers, one enjoys her company and the other 2 that are still kind of hesitant about being friends but accept her as their new crazy sibling. We could not imagine life without our Josie Girl.
