Happy Tails For Pebbles

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 11/18/22
Pet’s AARF Name: Pebbles
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Roxy
How is your adopted pet doing? Roxy is doing great! She has pretty much adopted my 3 year old Australian Shepard (Molly) as her ‘mama’ and she follows her around doing what she does. Molly (with my help) has been able to show her the ropes, like not getting in the trash and how to sit/wait for nighttime treats. She even met our extended family and their dogs over thanksgiving and did wonderfully. The cats have even warmed up to her, though she is still learning not to chase them.

Happy Tails For Westley

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 11/5/22
Pet’s AARF Name: Westley
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Westley
How is your adopted pet doing? He’s a dream! Westley fit right into our family. As soon as he got off the transport truck, he greeted us like he’s known us forever! Westly is a great companion; we bring him everywhere we go. He especially loves going on hikes and exploring the riverbank. He has excellent manners and is such a gentle soul. Westley’s also made best friends with our other dog that we recently adopted from AARF, Skuggi. We are truly blessed.

Happy Tails For Pia

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 10/18/22
Pet’s AARF Name: Pia
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Boudica
How is your adopted pet doing? Boudica (Boo for short) is doing great and growing up so fast! She has adjusted well to her 4 cat brothers (and they to her, too), and keeps everyone on their toes with her endless desire to play. She is such a goofy, sweet, smart girl and she just finished her first round of puppy training classes. I love her soooo much and can’t wait to go on more adventures with her.

Happy Tails For Lelaini

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 10/28/2022
Pet’s AARF Name: Lelaini
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): N/a
How is your adopted pet doing? She has been such a joy! She is full of energy and character. She’s really made our home a happier place. She recently was certified as an ESA. She has been loving her time at her new school and she’s obsessed with her dog brother Tucker. Every person she meets absolutely adores her.

We just got her a winter coat and rain jacket for cooler adventure days. Bully box arrival days are some of her favorites. She’s still OBSESSED with her snoop toy and awaits its appearance throughout the day.
She has her own stocking and even attempted at helping us decorate for Christmas (she likes to take the ornaments off the tree and bring them to you). Don’t worry, they’re higher now. We have a great list for Santa this year and hope to have many adventures in the upcoming months.

Thank you guys for making this possible. We are so in love with our goofy and sweet baby girl. We just ordered her birthday cake (1st birthday coming up!)

Happy Tails For Ocean

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: November 2022
Pet’s AARF Name: Ocean
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Elsa
How is your adopted pet doing? I fostered Ocean with another litter of kittens. When those kittens were old enough to be spayed/neutered, I kept tiny little Ocean. We had sent our beloved boxer Molly to the rainbow bridge in September, and are remaining boxer Willow was in mourning right along with us. Ocean and Willow bounded early on, and now it just made sense to keep this precious baby to help us fill that awful void of losing Molly.
Her name is now Elsa, named after the lioness in the show “born free” that my son Daniel loved as a child. Elsa keeps us entertained with her antics and is a loving bundle of furry energy. Always Purring. Always wanting love and attention and receiving it. Such a welcome addition to our pack. Perfect fit. Excellent Foster fail, lol!

Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Fred Dooley
How is your adopted pet doing? Fred Dooley is loving his new home! His best friend is Cooper, a mixed breed dog. They play well together and love snuggle time. Fred Dooley is an indoor dog who loves warm fires, green beans with his dinner, and lots of kisses. He is very motivated by treats and truly believes he is a lap dog. We are so thankful to have him in our lives!!

We’ve also spent time at our camp in the Adirondacks where he has experienced the lake and early snow. He loves the grandchildren and our “grand dog”. He just wants to be with us all the time and seems very loyal already.

Happy Tails For BELLINI

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: November 19, 2022
Pet’s AARF Name: BELLINI
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): BELLINI
How is your adopted pet doing? Bellini is an angel sent from heaven. I couldn’t have asked for the perfect pup. She walks great on a leash and enjoys her walks with Charlie. It took about a week before I heard her bark. And it was like music in my ears. She sleeps with me and Charlie every night and follows me around. She had her first visit to the Vet and everyone there loves her. We submitted her DNA to be tested since I am anxious to know her breed. I will certainly share her information with A.A.R.F. as soon we find out. Thank you for picking me to be Bellini’s Mom. My family loves her as much as I do.
