When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: August 9, 2022
Pet’s AARF Name: Niko
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Niko
How is your adopted pet doing? Niko is doing really well despite one incident! He did chewed up the couch and loveseat at exactly two weeks of having him. He is now crated and doing wonderfully! Niko is very well behaved despite this! Lol.. he and his canine brother Duke get along and play well together. Niko has definitely settled well into our routine. He has a huge backyard for his zoomies and loves to play fetch. Niko is skiddish of new people but warms up quickly. He is afraid of loud noises but does fine. He often retreats to his crate if things are too loud. Niko is definitely a wonderful addition to our family!

How is your adopted pet doing? Binx is doing awesome. He’s happy and growing so fast! He is such a sweetheart and loves to snuggle and get his belly rubbed! He purrs so loud you can feel him vibrate! He seems to like everyone he meets so far. We’ve kept him separate from our other 2 cats until he gets a little bigger and can fend for himself. We have a pet gate up in the doorway of his room so he has been able to see his new sisters. He’s a wonderful addition to our family!!

Happy Tails For Buster

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: July 24 2022
Pet’s AARF Name: Buster
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Zydeco
How is your adopted pet doing? Zydeco was picked up in Tenn, we traveled 14 hours to reach home. Each time he needed to stop for a pee break he let us know. He fit right in at our house. The only accidents were the humans fault. He learns very fast. He doesn’t bark. Goes to the door and sits, waits for the harness ( we have poison ivy in the yard). Walks on a leash and heels. Made not a sound at vet’s getting his shots. Very curious about sounds and movement. Is shy when meeting new people. He is loved by all the people he has met so far, they all want to ‘steal’ him and make him their own. He is a bottomless pit, always looking for food. Stands behind my legs when I’m in the kitchen. Has a morning routine : comes out of his crate, goes outside, comes back in and runs to me to get his body rub down from head to tail. His tail wags all the time. He has his place on the couch, when he get bigger he will have to move to the ‘dog chair’. Last night he learned to jump on the bed and get down again. Having had dogs and cats over 45 years he has been the easiest puppy ever, In a few months we will look for a playmate for him.

His litter mate, Darlin, live about 30 minutes away. We plan a play date in the future. Also her owner is a Vet Tech at his Vet.

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 8/14/2022
Pet’s AARF Name: Stumpy and Felix
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Grizzly and Roscoe
How is your adopted pet doing? After a five day bedroom isolation from our big boys, Loki and Stanley, little Grizzly and Roscoe have happily assimilated into the Cromie house! Loki has decided that Grizzly is his kitten, and Roscoe decided Stanley is his favorite big brother. Both kittens get baths and snuggles from their big brothers, and of course get lots of snuggles from all the hoomans in the house too! They are both big helpers with folding laundry and making beds, and with shoving their big brothers out of the way of the food bowls when they finish their food first. We are in love with these sweet boys, thank you AARF for connecting us with them!
