Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Lucy Goosey
How is your adopted pet doing? Lucy has immediately fit into our family and has melted our hearts. She and Murphy (also from AARF) have become fast friends and get along great together. She also loves our 2 cats! there have been no accidents, but she does love shoes — especially spongey ones. We can’t imagine her not being in our lives. She has found her forever home.

Pet’s AARF Name: Alberti
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Alberti Kingsley mutz
How is your adopted pet doing? He has adapted so well. He’s never alone because I work night shift and my family works days; so we alternate being at home. He’s adjusted very well to the cuddles and love he gets.
He loves going on adventures to state parks. He runs the trails while I try to keep up. We’ve had one play date with his kitten friend, Motley. And another play date with his two other kitten friends. He has a window seat that he loves to sleep and sunbathe in and a tower he does parkour on.
He has become such a big boy since we got him. He is 3 months old and will be 4 months June 17th!
He runs around the house and puts a smile on everyone’s face, because he’s very entertaining and full of personality. I recently learned he loves to watch the Simpsons and American dad before bed. Thank you all so much for our little blessing . He has become another family member in this household .

How is your adopted pet doing? He is doing really well. He is almost house broken. He tells us when he needs to go out most times, crate training is going well. He knows to hop in when it’s time to eat. He’s had one vet visit already for rabies shot. He goes back this Friday for his last set of puppy shots.

Pet’s AARF Name: Bodhi
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Bodhi
How is your adopted pet doing? Bodhi is doing great. It took him no time at all to adapt to our lifestyle. He is an energetic and happy fellow who loves to cuddle, give kisses and play, play, play. We set aside dedicated play time with him and he has made fast friends with our daughter’s AussieDoodle. He goes on frequent walks each day, loves to go on nature hikes and really loves to ride in the car and catch the “air wave”. He has started some basic training at Petco to help him be his very best Bodhi. We lost Blue (blind bluetick beagle) in February (adopted from AARF in June 2002). We hit another home run with Bodhi. Thank you AARF for this wonderful gift.
“You talkin’ to me”

Thank you, AARF for finding Mom & Dad a new boy to love. They sure did love me. All my best, Blue

Pet’s AARF Name: ~Alto~
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): ~Gino~
How is your adopted pet doing? Gino, formerly Alto, instantly made himself at home with the whole family.
He is like a little purring streak of lightning, bolting through the house and stealing kisses and cuddles with everyone.
His quickest and deepest friendship has been with his sister Chloe, formerly Snow, also from AARF. It’s like they know they have a special connection.
When he’s done chasing us all over the house he snuggles in as the sweetest little lap kitty there’s ever been. We all just adore him. This tiny little fellow has made a huge impact on all of our lives.
We love him so much! Thank you for choosing our family!

Pet’s AARF Name: Storm
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Saito
How is your adopted pet doing? Our hearts were broken after we had to say goodbye to our husky-mix of 15+ years, who had been a part of “us” as long as there’s been an “us”. We took some time, and then, when we started looking, this guy instantly caught our eye and has just as easily made his own space in our hearts. Saito is the perfect new addition to our family. He is so smart and learning all kinds of tricks and good behaviors. Daily walks, backyard adventures, and lots of kisses fill our days with happiness. He has discovered the joy of ice cubes, and he loves “talking” while chewing on his favorite squeaky toy. He’s our kind of weird in so many ways. Plus, he’s ridiculously photogenic. We are thankful every day that the right dog found his way to us thanks to the amazing folks at AARF.
