Happy Tails For Halo

Pet’s AARF Name: Halo
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Jasmine
How is your adopted pet doing? Jasmine loves her new big sister Annabelle. Jasmine is doing well with training and loves playing with water. I’ve never seen a dog that loves playing in the rain like she does. She stays in her playpen in my office while I am working. She has helped get my husband outside more and they enjoy playing fetch.

Happy Tails For Lamont

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 6/14/23
Pet’s AARF Name: Lamont
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Ozzie
How is your adopted pet doing? Ozzie is adapting into our family wonderfully! We have an almost two year old Great Dane and she’s become a great friend to him, very tolerant of his puppy playfulness. He’s friendly with everyone when taken out, including the vet and groomer. We couldn’t be happier with him! Kudos to his foster mom Lori for giving him a good start.

Happy Tails For Princess Peach

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: beginning of June
Pet’s AARF Name: Princess Peach
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Princess Peach (no change)
How is your adopted pet doing? We ended up adopting Peach, and 2 other kittens from other litters/organizations, all born within 3 weeks of each other! What a joy each of them has brought into our lives. Peach is extremely talkative, and loves cuddles. So far, she is kind of the “leader” of the family. Her adopted brother & sister cats, and even our 11 year old pit bull seem to let her rule the roost. Even still, she is not bossy. Peach is warm, sweet, and loyal to her family. We love her so much!

Happy Tails For Primrose

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: May, 2023
Pet’s AARF Name: Primrose
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Indie (Indigo)
How is your adopted pet doing? She’s great! She fit in the moment we brought her home. Indie loves her sister Dottie (dog) and brother Boone (human.) She bothers the cats. But the cats are bothered by everything. We’re working on it. She’s been pretty good about accidents but really needs some work walking on the leash. Overall, we couldn’t live without her!

Happy Tails For Max

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 01/21/2023
Pet’s AARF Name: Max
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Max
How is your adopted pet doing? Max is doing great and has fully recovered from the leg injury he had before adoption. He always wants to curl up next to you inside but likes to explore and run around in his new yard. He is very social and likes to meet new people. I took him through and obedience course, which he aced, so I could take him out to more things. He’s always excited for car rides to new places, but even when we’re staying in he’s always excited to see me and wants to be right next to me. He’s the best dog I could have hoped for.
