Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Sammy
How is your adopted pet doing? Sammy is such a snuggle bug and she’s fit in great with our silly family! We weren’t sure about our grumpy old dog accepting another animal, but they get along just fine and I’ve even caught them *almost* cuddling. Thank you for helping us find the perfect addition to our family!

Happy Tails For Skip

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: August
Pet’s AARF Name: Skip
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): We kept the name Skip
How is your adopted pet doing? Skip is doing great. He fits our life style perfectly. He was completely housebroken and well mannered. We take a walk every morning and he loves it. He LOVES to ride in the car and he enjoys going camping. My biggest problem is every time he gets near a car he thinks he should get in. He’s a real cuddle bug and wants to be next to us on the couch but will stay down if I tell him to. He just a great dog. I’m so glad I found him.

How is your adopted pet doing? Nicholas has been a great addition to our family. The kids absolutely adore him and he loves to play with us. Our adult cat hasn’t been as interested in playing as we thought she would, so we ended up adopting another kitten so he can have a playmate. We think he’s absolutely precious and when we tell anyone about him, we make sure to tell them what a great experience adopting through A.A.R.F. has been.

Happy Tails For Max

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: July 19,2018
Pet’s AARF Name: Max
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Did not change name
How is your adopted pet doing? Max is amazing! He has quickly adjusted to our busy home and is now officially best friends with his sisters, Beauty (a GSD), Poe (a tuxedo kitty) and brother, Gizmo (an orange kitty). Aside from his furry brother and sisters, Max loves his beds, his treats and his daily walks to a field near our home. When we’re out in the backyard, he likes to lay on his outdoor bed or on the ground. He is content just to sit and listen to the birds or chase the occasional squirrel. Every night, when it’s time for bed, he quickly climbs the stairs and hops onto our bed! He often cuddles with us on the couch and of course, on the bed. He also loves to curl up underneath the desk in the office when my husband’s working. He is so lovable and so sweet….we cannot imagine our home and family without him.
