Pet’s AARF Name: Duchess
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Lola
How is your adopted pet doing? Lola is the sweetest and most smiley girl! She became a big sister this past September and loves her baby brother. She loves to go in car rides, walks in the park, and chase squirrels in the backyard. We absolutely adore her and still have to pinch ourselves that she is apart of our furever family! We are truly blessed by her love.

Happy Tails For Ian

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: January 9, 2021
Pet’s AARF Name: Ian
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Leo
How is your adopted pet doing? Leo has adjusted to his new forever home and his big brother Kobi very well. Kobi (also an A.A.R.F. adoptee) didn’t know what to think about Leo the first couple of days but now they are like to kids playing through the house. Leo and Kobi like snuggling together sometimes and play with each other a lot. Leo is going to be just fine here.

Happy Tails For Gucci Meow

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: January 7, 2021
Pet’s AARF Name: Gucci Meow
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Percy
How is your adopted pet doing? Percy has been a blessing for our whole family! He has so much personality, and has provided laughs galore! Although a very active and curious kitten, he is loving and likes to cuddle. We never know what he is going to do next. He has bonded well with out 13 year old ragdoll, even though the big one is much less active. This was our first rescue adoption, and we now see why everyone says this is the way to go! Thank you for this wonderful pet!

Happy Tails For Olaf

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: December 2020
Pet’s AARF Name: Olaf
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Alfie
How is your adopted pet doing? Sweet, chatterbox Alfie immediately fit into our family immediately. His foster parents did a remarkable job in socializing this once feral golf course kitten, and although quick to scatter at a noise, he is also quick to comeback out to greet you and check things out. The older cats oddly enough never even hissed at this little guy who is so amicable. He has stolen everyones heart and has made a special bond with “Remy” his playmate and cuddle buddy. His purr is huge and his swetness melts your heart. We are so happy he was saved by AARF. He was a purrfect fit!

Happy Tails For Puffin

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 12/22/21
Pet’s AARF Name: Puffin
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Pyrelli
How is your adopted pet doing? Pyrelli is a wonderful toddler in my family. Magnum my pyr-collie mix and Joe my cat have a fun time playing with him. Being a nurse, I’m still having to work an extra night every other week, so Pyrelli is having to stay in his crate while I am working. I really hate having the 4 night week every other week since he has to be crated. I have put a crate beside my bed when I have to sleep during the day so Pyrelli knows I am still close by. He is always on a leash in my backyard, but is able to run in my daughter’s fenced in yard several days a week. Pyrelli has free access in my house while I’m awake. I’m getting less sleep, but loving having a new toddler in my family. I am so grateful to the wonderful administrators and fosters with AARF for taking such great care of Pyrelli and providing him a chance for a wonderful life with me and my family.

Happy Tails For Jordan

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 12/20/20
Pet’s AARF Name: Jordan
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Mirabelle
How is your adopted pet doing? Mirabelle, previously known as Jordan, is very happy with her forever family. She is a great addition! She adapted very quickly and is now a bi-lingual kitten understanding both French and English. She is a “foodie” and gets excited at her and our meal time. Her favorite game is chasing nerf bullets. She is very social. She has had kitten diarrhea since joining us, but is on a prescription food now and this hopefully will resolve her gastro issues.
