When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: June 5th
Pet’s AARF Name: Gunter
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Scoob
How is your adopted pet doing? Scoob is adjusting well to being a little brother. He loves his big brother, TT so much. He’s always with TT. They snuggle up and nap together and play together. Scoob always loves snuggles with his mommy on the couch and in the bed. He’s still being potty trained, but that’s okay. It’s a learning process. One of his favorite pass times is going to his grandparents and playing with their puppy. Scoob is adjusting very well to his new home and life.

Happy Tails For Georgia
When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: May 23, 2021
Pet’s AARF Name: Georgia
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Fern
How is your adopted pet doing? Fern fit wonderfully into our family from day one. The description of her personality (both from the initial post on Petfinder and from speaking with her foster mom) was very thoughtful and accurate. She is so confident, friendly, and pretty hilarious! We love that she will join us for a long hike but is also eager to snuggle on the couch. She has a knack for finding the most fluffy and comfy place to sleep. She’s so loving to my kids- they adore her. Fern’s had a lot of adventures in the five weeks she’s been with us- making new doggy friends at her babysitter’s, camping (and slept in a sleeping bag!), hiking at 2 different state parks, swimming in creeks, devouring pup cups from Starbucks, and learning to fetch. I was so impressed with the entire adoption process with AARF. I was given a really detailed, organized medical record that made establishing care at our vet very smooth. Thank you so much for seeing the value in my girl and her litter of puppies and finding them loving homes! 🙂
Happy Tails For Murray
When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 06/20/2020
Pet’s AARF Name: Murray
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Murray
How is your adopted pet doing? Murray just celebrated his 1st "Anniversary" with us, which we have adopted as his birthday. The best guess between us and his vet is that he is now 3 years old. He fits into our family perfectly. He is in love with our 5 year old granddaughter, and she loves him, too. He loves going to the groomer and meeting new people and shows it with his "smile" – which I haven't been able to catch on camera. He loves to sleep in the bed; but we had to get his own (although, he still prefers ours, lol), because once he lays down, you CANNOT move him; and he steals all the cover, lol. The only other issue we've had is that no one told him he weighs 65 pounds!! And he wants to sit in my lap, lol! Murray is very stubborn, playful and loveable, and we couldn't be happier that he is part of our family. Thank you, AARF!

How is your adopted pet doing? From the moment we were handed Augie he was wagging his tail and giving kissing. He is an incredibly friendly and adventurous dog and we think he is enjoying his new life with us. He meets new people and new dogs on a regular basis and enjoys morning and evening walks to explore the neighborhood. His favorite adventures are going out for ice cream to get his own puppy ice cream scoop.
