Happy Tails For Tig

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: December 24, 2022
Pet’s AARF Name: Tig
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Maverick
How is your adopted pet doing? Maverick has been a wonderful addition to our fur baby family. After the untimely passing of my oldest cat, the younger sibling became more reserved and less active. Maverick has definitely filled that void and became an instant companion to all of us. If he is not climbing on our shoulders or playing with his toys, he is playing chase with the dogs and cat. When he does finally calm down, he loves cuddling in our laps, and will sleep with his fellow furry family. He is everything we had hoped when we adopted him, and I am certain he is going to provide us with a lifetime of love and laughs.

Happy Tails For Hardy

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 12/27/2022
Pet’s AARF Name: Hardy
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Hardy
How is your adopted pet doing? Hardy is doing great and everything we were hoping to have in a feline friend. I enjoy the company while I work when he is not knocking my pen off my desk. LOL He loves his cat tunnels and laser pointer as well as running across my face at 3am. But as playful as he is he is also just as much of a cuddler. He has mastered the kitty cat door that leads him to his litter box in the garage. He is very vocal when he does not know where we are in the house so we have learned to sleep with our bedroom door open so he can come and go. He loves to drink water from the sink while we brush our teeth and he has a favorite chair that we have claimed as Hardy’s chair. We are happy we found him.

Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Freya
How is your adopted pet doing? Freya is doing amazing. She has already integrated with our other animals. She is queen bee and will even stalk our German Shepard “Loki”. But I have also found them both cuddled together on my bed. She will only share her treats with my orange tabby. She loves to play, be cuddled, and sleep on people’s pillows. She is already spoiled rotten and has to have a kitty treat every morning. She was underweight when we got her but she is up to a normal weight.

Thank you AARF! Freya is such a wonderful addition to our family.

Happy Tails For Chucky and Conner

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 12/9/2022
Pet’s AARF Name: Chucky and Conner
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): no changes
How is your adopted pet doing? Chucky and Conner are doing great. They have more than doubled in size and weight, and their colors / markings are more pronounced now.
They play fight and chase each other half the day and sleep the other half. You see in the pictures, that they also help me with dishes.
They get along with my 2 dogs, Tim and Josey just fine, although they have tried to take some of Tim’s toys away. A few lip curls from Tim and a cat slap from the boys and its settled.

Thanks,
Don

Pet’s AARF Name: Sophie

How is your adopted pet doing? Daphne is the best little girl we could’ve asked for. She is so well-behaved and is very obedient. She loves making new furry friends at the dog park. She loves to hug people and give kisses. She’s the biggest cuddler and loudest snorer lol. We learned that she LOVES to wear sweaters and bandanas. She always gets a pup cup at Starbucks and gets to pick out toys at the pet store. She always has the boxer wiggles when she gets excited. She’s the best dog we could’ve asked for. We are so thankful this sweet girl came into our lives
