When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: December 19, 2020
Pet’s AARF Name: Bear Bear
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Still named Bear Bear
How is your adopted pet doing? Bear Bear is doing just great here in our home. He has adjusted very well to his new surroundings. He made himself right at home here within a few days, as if he lived here for years. He loves going for walks and playing with all of his toys. He can even entertain himself with his toys and is so comical to watch him throw his toys, then run after and catch it. We both love Bear a lot and are so glad we adopted him from AARF. He is the best dog and follows us every where in the house. He is also well behaved in the house. He is also well behaved when meeting other people and dogs. He will have his furr-ever home with us. He is also very confident around us and alerts us by barking if he hears any noises or when someone comes to the door. Our home is now complete with Bear Bear.

Happy Tails For Azalea and Aries

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 12/29/2020 and 1/16/2019
Pet’s AARF Name: Azalea and Aries
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): They are still Azalea and Aries
How is your adopted pet doing? We adopted Aries a year ago and he was just a great addition to our little family. He is super sweet and so playful and he has the best personality. When we moved from our apartment to a house, we decided it was time to get him a friend. We got Azalea and it was clear that she would fit right in. She is sweet just like Aries but also loves to play and run. Aries and Azalea have gotten along so well and are adjusting nicely to having each other around. They play so well together and we are so glad we got to rescue them both!

Happy Tails For Checkers

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: November 25, 202
Pet’s AARF Name: Checkers

How is your adopted pet doing? Jax came right in and quickly made himself at home! He loves to play (and nap) with his doggy brother, Wrigley. He is definitely spoiled and we wouldn’t have it any other way 🙂

Happy Tails For Chloe

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 11/27/2020
Pet’s AARF Name: Chloe
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Willow
How is your adopted pet doing? Willow is a perfect, fluffy, wrecking ball of a puppy. She is so goofy and sweet. Her favorite thing is her puppy kindergarten class where she can romp and play with pups who are her same age but only half her size. She rolls over on her back and lets them jump all over her, but sometimes she gets the zoomies in class and runs around accidentally steamrolling the other pups! She takes long, peaceful naps during the day and when she sees her humans, she rolls over for belly rubs. She’s still working on befriending our cats, but her attempts to play with them isn’t winning her any friends! She’s perfect, and we are so happy with her. Thank you to AARF for rescuing her litter and pouring so much love and care into them!

Happy Tails For Maybe

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: November 2020
Pet’s AARF Name: Maybe
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Hazel
How is your adopted pet doing? Hazel is settling into her new home with her big brother Finn very well! Finn is also from AARF, so he and Hazel have a special bond even if they won’t admit it yet. Hazel is a BIG snuggler but also loves to play and chew and torment her brother like any good little sister. She has been such a joy to have in our lives and we are grateful to Ariel and Sonny for helping Hazel find her way to us!

Happy Tails For Sadie

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 10/10/2020
Pet’s AARF Name: Sadie
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Jay-Jay
How is your adopted pet doing? Jay-Jay is doing very well with us and our other AARF. pup from 2018, Charlie. My daughter gave Jay-Jay her new name (short for Jumpin’ Jaws) … Jay-Jay was so packed with nervous energy when she got here that she couldn’t stop jumping up and nipping at us. Within a few weeks, she was much more calm and happy. Now, after almost 2.5 months she seems well adjusted and feeling right at home. She is playful, affectionate, and loves going on adventures with us. Charlie and Jay-Jay get along very well and are never far from each other. We are so happy that we found her and that she’s part of our family. Thank you so much for all of your help!
