When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 6/1/14
Pet’s AARF Name: Daisy Fuentes
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Daisy
How is your adopted pet doing? Daisy has been the best dog ever. She has been with us for so long and our kids have grown up with her in their lives. She still sleeps a lot, has never been a problem and always ready for a walk. She loves to eat bananas with the family at breakfast time and in 2017, she gained a little brother named Carlos. This was our first dog adoption and our lives have been enriched. Thank you A.A.R.F. for Daisy!

Happy Tails For Kit Kat
When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: February 2021
Pet’s AARF Name: Kit Kat
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Molly
How is your adopted pet doing? I’m so happy with Molly (Kit Kat) and Lucy (Peyton).
They are both do loving and sweet. They play well together, I was concerned since they are not related. They wrestle and chase each other, yet they groom each other, lay and sleep next to each other and play.
Molly is a little dominant, but Lucy can handle her.
They have do much joy to my life as I lost my husband in Dec 2020 and had to have my 18 year old kitty put to sleep February 4, 2021.
I knew I loved them as soon as I saw them, thank you for allowing me to adopt them as my new furbabies.

Pet’s AARF Name: ACE
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): ACE
How is your adopted pet doing? Ace is fitting right in. Even Thom Cat is warming up to him. He is visiting the vet on the 26th so I can get his meds. I say he likes me best but my husband says he likes him best. He loves the fenced yard and is keeping the squirrels away from the bird feeders. I think he is happy.
Happy Tails For Kimber
When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 2/4/21
Pet’s AARF Name: Kimber
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Ellie
How is your adopted pet doing? Ellie is doing great. She gets along with Barkley (our Setter), and our grandchildren. We are thrilled to have her as part of our family. Funny thing…….the dogs will retreat to the basement to play, totally on their own, while we are upstairs. Just like kids going downstairs to play.
Happy Tails For Kaia
When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 2/5/2021
Pet’s AARF Name: Kaia
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Kaia
How is your adopted pet doing? Kaia is a very sweet dog and she is has completely captured our hearts. We are a retired couple who have a lot of time to devote to our new fur baby, and we are enjoying every minute with her (well, almost – she prefers to chew on us rather than her toys still – haha). She is a very good walking companion and we walk with her for several miles every day. We love our new family member and are very grateful for AARF for rescuing her.
Happy Tails For Lewis
When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: February 2021
Pet’s AARF Name: Lewis
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Loki
How is your adopted pet doing? Loki is an amazing cat. He fit in the moment he got here, there was zero adjustment period, by his choice, he just came in, started exploring everywhere and made himself right at home. He gets on really well with my 3 young children and the 5 year old cat we already had, who he plays with on a daily basis. He is very playful and loves his toys… he also likes to hide under our bed and “attack” our feet! He’s also a very affectionate cat and likes to be picked up and carried, which my kids are very happy about. He has been a great addition to our family and we are very happy with him 🙂

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: January 27, 2021
Pet’s AARF Name: Lucy
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Lucy
How is your adopted pet doing? We were excited to adopt Lucy (Vizsla – Mountain Cur) to have a sister for our Cora (Staffordshire – Black Lab). We could not keep up with Cora’s energy! The girls are both 2 1/2 years old and both rescues “Best Breed Ever” They get along famously, playing and wrestling all day long! I’ve been home from school/work for almost a full year. Started back last week and they are doing well home alone with their doggie door and fenced in play yard! LOTS of chew toys left out all over the house and peanut butter stuffed Kong toys help too! Love our furry children!!!
