Pet’s AARF Name: Mochi
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Kept the name it was PERFECT
How is your adopted pet doing? Mochi is turning into an amazing companion and hiking partner. It wasn’t all rainbows and sunshine though. She had an extremely high prey drive and thought she had to be the alpha dog in all situations. Thankfully, hard work, dedication and most of all exposure has her running full steam into her role in my life aka constant companion. We’re currently through hiking the Appalachian Trail together and just finished with Tennessee so I thought it would be a good time to send in our happy tail. 4 months together, 2 of which have been camping and hiking every day and I don’t know what I would do without this girl. Thank you so much for taking a chance on me with her!

Pet’s AARF Name: Mika

How is your adopted pet doing? We are so happy to have Mika in our family! Her and her “older brother” Sebastian get along like peas and carrots and they love to spend hours romping in the backyard playing together. She is a total lovebug and has already charmed all of our neighbors and made friends with their dogs. Her feisty personality is starting to show and we get tickled watching her and Sebastian dog-wrestle and play chase. Mika enjoyed her first hiking trip to Big South Fork and is learning the commands sit, stay, and come. We are so happy that A.A.R.F. matched Mika to our family!
