He loves to look out the window at the birds and deer. He curls up on our lap and snoozes away with a content look on his kitty face. Everyone loves him, and he loves us.

Happy Tails For Amaryllis
When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: May 23, 2021
Pet’s AARF Name: Amaryllis
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Rory
How is your adopted pet doing? Rory is doing so well! Her foster mom told us that she was a shy and timid little kitten – well, we found out week 1 that she just needed to find the right home to let her personality shine. She’s a little spunky spitfire and wanders the house like she owns it. Rory is super vocal and will meow (more like a squeak) to let us know when she needs snuggles or is on her way to go potty – she does nothing without announcing it first.
Our biggest concern when adopting was that her and her new brother, Dexter, wouldn’t get along, but they’re already such great friends. The two are always close to each other and she likes to reach her little paw out to touch his back if he’s not close enough. We love her so much already and are so thankful to have had the opportunity to adopt her!

Happy Tails For Athena
When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 5/20/21
Pet’s AARF Name: Athena
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Hermione
How is your adopted pet doing? We are in love with Hermione. She was shy the first couple of days but not any more. She roams freely in our home and sleeps with my daughter every night. She loves to climb, sit in the window, and lay around and be lazy. She loves to be petted. She is definitely a “people” cat and loves to be near someone. We are absolutely thrilled to have her as part of our family. My daughter wanted a cat who would love to lay around and snuggle and just be a friend to her. She is exactly what we wanted. The adoption process was great. Brittany Robbins was so helpful. Thanks for all of the wonderful work you do saving animals.
Happy Tails For Fiona
When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 4/21
Pet’s AARF Name: Fiona
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Mia
How is your adopted pet doing? Mia’s favorite game is tug of war. She loves playing with her big brother Cass when they’re not cuddling or creating chaos together. All Cass ever wanted was a friend to play tug of war with so he’s very excited to have a sister. She’s very sweet and extremely mischievous. We are still working on house breaking. However, she goes into her kennel easily snd sings husky songs when her humans go to work.

How is your adopted pet doing? Zealand is the perfect addition to our family. We were looking for small but mighty, and boy did we find him! Our first weekend together, Zealand went camping with us and hiked six miles. He’s a master at playing fetch, and he’s also a fantastic couch cuddler. Everyone goes gaga for his ears!
