How is your adopted pet doing? Duke is doing wonderful in his new home, his recent vet visit he is now at 81 pounds, all else is great with him, we enjoy him so much, not sure who loves each other more, him us or us him, he is my friend and pal but very spoiled and protective towards my wife, he is such a smart dog, he is so eager to learn new commands which my wife has taught him, one of his favorite things to do is spend a little while in the swing with me, he just loves to sit in that swing, he enjoys going to beautiful Lake Cumberland which is only a couple miles from us. He has been such a wonderful addition to our family, he is greatly loved.

Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Barney
How is your adopted pet doing? Great! He has fit in with our other two dogs quite well up to the point of playing with and chasing/being chased by our Corgi mix.
Only issue is having a few ninja pees on one of the dog beds we keep in the living room.
He has his own bed and duck toy (which is his world) and loves running around our fenced in back yard.

Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Ghost
How is your adopted pet doing? We adopted Ghost (the dog formerly known as Prince) because my husband wanted a large dog for protection and to give our small dog a buddy. Ghost grew to be a very large 105 lb baby that love his couch. Fast forward 4 years, I lost my husband of 27 years In 2020 but both my boys make me smile and laugh every day. Ghost is a happy boy who loves to sniff and chase squirrels. Thank you A.A.R.F. for helping me find a great addition to my family.

Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Kimchee
How is your adopted pet doing? Kimchee is doing very well! The guest bedroom has now turned into Kimchee’s room. We have a baby gate at the door to make sure her canine brothers know that is Kimchee’s safe space. She has slowly been warming up to them and has started exploring the rest of the house even with her older canine brother Oak, in the same room. She loves looking out the window and taking naps in her gray chair. Currently, her favorite toy is a crawdaddy wand toy. We are so happy and lucky to have Kimchee in our family!

Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Bella
How is your adopted pet doing? Bella has been a perfect addition to our family! This big girl, weighing over 30lbs at her vet appointment at 14 weeks, is afraid of the going outside in the dark, a neighbor’s yard statue and another neighbor’s mailbox. She loves going on walks several times a day and playing in the yard with our other dog Bailey. She likes to be with her people, so much so that she calmly climbs on our laps and lays down to cuddle after she wakes up in the morning, or whenever we return from errands, etc. She was a total surprise for our kids and they have loved every minute of having a new puppy to play with!
