Pet’s AARF Name: Murray
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Murray
How is your adopted pet doing? Murray has fit in very well. He is beyond excited when he hears the word “walk” and jumps up and down until he gets his leash on, but he’s almost as happy to run around the backyard or have a snooze in one of his two doggy beds. Actually, he prefers the couch whenever he can! He is respectful of our 14-year-old cat, and at first, he didn’t even touch her food. However, when he became more settled, he decided it was fair game if she leaves it and if we forget to pick her plate up. We didn’t hear a bark from him for a week and then he found his voice, usually directed at the mailman. We call him “Murray, the Magician” because one second he is right there and the next, he’s in a different part of the house, and he’s really quiet when he’s on the move. We love him so much. He patiently lets us brush him, remove prickly burrs, & clip his toenails. We’ve learned he loves pizza, morning toast, even fruit smoothie, but not bananas. However, he’s very good about not begging. He waits patiently until he gets his share, especially fried egg scraped from the pan. He doesn’t smile for the camera much, but his tail gets a good wagging workout! We are so glad we spotted him in the A.A.R.F. video! He’s a wonderful member of our family.

Pet’s AARF Name: Henry
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Henry
How is your adopted pet doing? Henry is doing fantastic! The first two days, he slept a lot and chased the cats and chickens, tried to nip at all humans, and stole treats from our older dog Ripley. We’ve been working a lot with training him, and already, he’s leaving the cats alone, mostly ignoring the chickens (unless they run, but we still use a leash with him, when they’re out), waiting his turn for treats, and at a family halloween party, he loved on all the kids, being gentle & not nipping at any of them! He’s so incredibly smart and already such a perfect addition to our family! He has had a few potty accidents (at 4 months old, it’s expected), but he’s also started sitting at the back door to let us know he needs to go out. He’s such a happy, playful boy, and I’m so glad we found him! Thank you so much for our fur baby! We all love him so much already!
