Happy Tails For Maggie Mae

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: March 17, 2023
Pet’s AARF Name: Maggie Mae
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Maggie Mae
How is your adopted pet doing? Maggie has settled in with our family beautifully. She has claimed her spots the ruler of the house. We love her so much and she loves us. She has brought so much joy since we lost our Bailey. We are training he with simple commands as she loves her walks on our 15 acres with daily crossings of many different animals. It is a dream sniff zone for her. She has also become the car and tractor riding buddy Dale needed. We are so thankful for the care she received from AARF before we adopted her. She is truly a blessing to our family. Thank you just isn’t enough.

How is your adopted pet doing? Koshka was the missing piece to complete our Kitty trifecta. She’s the most affectionate kitty who’s always looking for her next cuddle.

Happy Tails For Della

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: March 20
Pet’s AARF Name: Della
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Della
How is your adopted pet doing? When we first met Della she was pretty terrified of most humans or sudden noises, due to her previous neglect and time as a stray. We decided that our low traffic household and local nature trails would suit her well as we built up trust and showed her some love.
After 5 minutes in our front yard, Della slipped out of her collar and ran to the woods. Thanks to Della’s amazing foster mom, Elizabeth and “Puppy” we had her back within an hour. We keep in contact for play dates, as they live nearby!
Over the past month, Della has flourished with confidence. Noises are already becoming less alarming, she enjoys “wrestle time” with us, and always eager for a good hike down a trail. Della has also discovered how great hanging out on a porch is. She’s still trying to figure out strangers, but who isn’t?
We are excited to have Della be a part of our lives and grateful for the people who help with A.A.R.F.

How is your adopted pet doing? Beatrice loves to give and get kisses. She zooms around the house with her squeaky dog toys often throwing them in the air. Nyla bones are another favorite. She brings such joy to our house especially after losing our beloved LuLu.

Suprice, suprise we had her DNA tested and found she’s a combination of 14 different dog breeds!

Happy Tails For Dexter

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 11/5/22
Pet’s AARF Name: Dexter
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Rufio
How is your adopted pet doing? Rufio sits at the very center of our little family in Montana. He goes everywhere with us and has loved exploring our snowy yard and hiking trails this past winter. He is the sweetest dog we’ve ever known- kind towards every dog he meets (he gets so excited when he sees his pup friends!) and so gentle with humans. Rufio may be small, but his personality is mighty—he is so brave and adventurous. We can’t wait to see him bound around our little farm this season! He stole our hearts and our bed almost 6 months ago, and we’ve been grateful for every minute we’ve spent with him by our sides. Thank you for bringing us together, AARF!

Happy Tails For Ellie

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: January 2023
Pet’s AARF Name: Ellie
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Polly
How is your adopted pet doing? Polly entered our home as though she’s lived here her entire life and has become best friends with every person that walks through the door. She’s learning all sorts of commands, enjoys her evening walks more than anything, and is always up for a snuggle on the couch with her family. Polly has about 5 million nicknames from all the new people in her life, and she greets every person with cuddles and kisses no matter what they call her (after she’s run about ten laps around them). She is the sweetest little love who has made herself irreplaceable in our lives and we couldn’t imagine life without her. Thank you AARF for caring for her until we could find her ❤️
