Happy Tails For Nebula

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: April 2023
Pet’s AARF Name: Nebula
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Birdie
How is your adopted pet doing? Birdie is thriving! When AARF first got involved, she was hungry, malnourished, and scared. AARF got her on the right track to get healthy, but when we adopted her last month, there was still work to do. Now that she has healthy food, lots of stimulating play time, structure and training, and all the love, attention, and cuddles she could ever want, she is now at a healthy weight, has wonderful energy, and her coat has grown in and is shiny. We love playing fetch at the park together and then snuggling on the couch! We are still working on socializing her, but we are dedicated and making progress. We love our Birdie!

How is your adopted pet doing? Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Henry
How is your adopted pet doing? Henry (Lucky) is my fourth rescue and second AARF kitty. He has fit right in with the bunch and was happy to make himself right at home from the time he arrived. He was very patient while waiting thru the slow introduction period and could hardly wait to get out and play with the others. He loves everybody and everything and is just the sweetest, most affectionate, laid back, comical boy. He is just a big lap full of love weighing in at 10.2 lbs at 8 months. ❤️

Happy Tails For Mia

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: March 12th, 2023
Pet’s AARF Name: Mia
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Mia
How is your adopted pet doing? Mia has acclimated really well to the household that she shares with an 11-year-old, myself and a relatively shy cat. She’s become a car-ride addict, hoping we go to the park or hike at any small jingle of the keys she hears (which, often, we do!)
It’s her birthday in a few days, so we plan on getting a big hike done and going out for a nice treat afterwards.
