Happy Tails For Echo

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: May, 2023
Pet’s AARF Name: Echo
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Rango
How is your adopted pet doing? It feels like Rango has always been a part of our lives and family. We connected the day we went to “meet him”, we quickly decided that we wanted him to come home with us that day. He is a joy and wears us out playing ball at every opportunity and makes us laugh as he learns new things and explores our farm. He swam for the first time recently, and now we can barely keep him out of the river. He is an annoying little brother to our our older dog, Trixie, but they enjoy exploring together and hanging out as a family.
Thank you AARF for the opportunity to find our furever boy!

How is your adopted pet doing? Birdie is doing amazing! We are so glad she joined our family. She is really coming out of her shell and enjoys hanging out with us more and more. She loves cuddles and playtime. Our dog and her have become friends, though she lets him know when he’s being too much! Belly rubs are her favorite and she loves “making biscuits” on our legs before she snuggles down to sleep at our feet. Kids are her favorite and our two absolutely adore her. She is the sweetest baby ever! We sure do love her and are so grateful to AARF for fostering her and letting us adopt her!

Happy Tails For Lenny

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: June, 2023
Pet’s AARF Name: Lenny
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Ollie
How is your adopted pet doing? Ollie is doing great! He is best buds with our other 3 dogs. They run and jump and play together constantly. Ollie feels loved and has his forever home. He has been difficult to potty train and feel he lacked consistency in the first 6 months of his life, but we are working with him and put doggie diapers on him when necessary. He is very fearful of strangers, men in particular. He is very protective and snaps at people now and then, but has hurt no one. He seems more to threaten than to want to hurt anyone. Obviously he was abused to some degree in his early life. We are willing to love him and be patient with him and are happy we adopted him!
