Pet’s AARF Name: Dexter
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Dexter
How is your adopted pet doing? Dexter settled into his new environment immediately. On any day one can view the home floors with stuffed toys throughout the home and backyard. His favorite activity is to spend time investigating the ‘dog proof’ half acre of backyard with grass and plantings. In addition, he has become the official greeter by welcoming visitors as he views them from the front door sidelight. Several times per day he requests to go outside and play as long as he is accompanied by my wife or me. His favorite trick, besides walking on his back legs, is to jump over our 15 year old Golden rescue, without touching her. Sleeping in the master bed fulfills his night time desire and the center pillow has become his private spot. Being retired we spend many hours reading or watching TV and Dexter maintains his own cushion on the sofa. His youth and vigor is refreshing!

Pet’s AARF Name: Libby
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Bean
How is your adopted pet doing? I am so grateful to AARF and it’s fosters. We found Bean online and automatically felt she had to be a part of our family. She loves everyone- all of her brothers big and small. Some dogs run for cheese wrappers and snack bags, Bean runs for vegetables on a cutting board. She eats all vegetables raw and cooked- including couliflower. She loves sun bathing and cuddling with her humans and fur brothers. She is such a diva and daddy’s little princess. We are so grateful she is in our lives thank you to the kind hard working individuals at AARF. We have recently been looking to adopt from AARF again. Thank you for all you do.

How is your adopted pet doing? Logan is the sweetest boy ever! Logan’s best friend is our orange cat, Nala. They run, play and cuddle together. He loves visiting the dog park and running with all of his new 4-legged friends or on the greenway with me. He also loves to chase his toys into the lake on a hot afternoon and go for a swim. After that, he enjoys getting pampered at the doggy spa where he wins the hearts of all the groomers and visitors. He is well mannered and enjoys chewing on bones and any stuffed animal he can get ahold of. He takes naps in his kennel when we aren’t home and sleeps on his doggy bed next to my bed at night. Its true when people say “who rescued who” because I believe Logan rescued me as much as I rescued him. We sure do love him with all of our hearts! Thank you all so much for what you do!
