When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: October 2018
Pet’s AARF Name: Pixel
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Mizu
How is your adopted pet doing? We originally found and rescued Mizu from behind an air conditioning unit. She had runny eyes and a head cold, but she loved to be held and petted. We were getting married at the end of that week, though, and we wouldn’t be around to take care of her. Thankfully, we got in touch with a foster mom whom AARF sponsored, and she took care of our girl until she was ready for adoption. When we saw her become available, we deliberated back and forth and ultimately decided we needed our wedding kitty in our lives again. Now Mizu and her big dog sister, Gracie, are best buddies. Her grandma bought her a welcome gift of a cat tree and all the toys a kitty could want. She still loves snuggles, and always curls up with us on the couch after dinner. Naturally, anything that moves MUST be a toy, but Mizu always settles in for scritches and cuddles.
