When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: June 21, 2026
Pet’s AARF Name: Libby and Trixie
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Sometimes I call Trixie Trickster; she is such a character.
How is your adopted pet doing? It has just been a month but everyone is setting into a routine. The girls know where to sleep at night and when they are ready they go to their beds. I close the gate behind them and they sleep quietly all night until the hear Joey wake up and starts his shaking routine. We all go out and potty and then everyone is ready to eat. Libby and Joey are separated from Peppa and Trixie because they would eat the other two dogs food also
Next, we go out for a walk. The girls know to come to me to put on their halters and lease. It took Trixie a month to cooperate. Usually she would roll on her back or go hide. They are very playful girls and Joey attempts to get involved in their playing. They have adapted very well. It was very important that both girls came to the same home. They are very bonded. Last night Libby fell asleep in the living room and Trixie went to bed. Every few minutes Trixie came out to look for Libby. I finally told Libby it was time for bed so Trixie would settle down
