When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: April 2016
Pet’s AARF Name: Hemsley
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Hemsley
How is your adopted pet doing? Hemsley is such a blessing. When I saw his picture I knew he was mean for me, I had graduated from a 6 month rehab for drug addiction and was just settling into my new home and new job at a horse barn. I had been looking for a puppy for sometime at different rescues and hadn’t found any perfect fits. Hemsley was in the process of being adopted when I contacted you, but he was the only one I felt a spark for in the litter. A few days later I saw an email that his adoption fell through and I asked if he was available still. I didn’t respond fast enough so yet again he was in the process of being adopted. It was meant to be because his second adoption fell through and I spent every last penny I had to get him to New Hampshire with me! Hemsley is a sweet, kind, gentle soul and he loves coming to work with me every day. He can tell when I am feeling down and he comes rite to me when I need him the most. He learned all his tricks in one night because he is that smart and he is the best running buddie I could ask for. Car rides to Vermont to visit my family are easy because he loves the car and loves all other dogs when we visit! Thank you so much for giving me my best friend. A true best friend who licks tears right from my face.
