When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: December 8, 2018
Pet’s AARF Name: Ginevera
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Ginny
How is your adopted pet doing? Ginny has got right into our family. Of course, our fosters are always part of our family, but even from the beginning, she was a bit special. She would hide in the basket in the bathroom and jump out to play with us, crawl into bed with us, and always want to be in the room with her people. She went to Petco to be adopted and was adopted within a day of being there. She is just such a loving cat. After being with her new adopted for about a month, she was returned. She was afraid that with her partner’s failing health, Ginny wouldn’t get the attention she really wanted and needed. We got the call and she cane back to us. Honestly, we kind of knew then she was staying but no one said it. Since she’s been adopted, she’s just gone back to being home. She and our other cat, Jet, are best buddies. They play together and nap together. Their 4am stampedes are epic! We love Ginny and she’s such a great fit for us. I know it’s always sad when an adoption fails, but in this case, I think the universe definitely had a bigger plan.
