When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: June 30, 2018
Pet’s AARF Name: Evanora
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Jade
How is your adopted pet doing? Overall Jade is wonderful. The dog introduction required about 5 – 10 minutes at most. She loves the cats too. Jade occasionally gets a bit too exuberant with them and in turn they are quite willing to teach her the error of her ways!
She is always friendly and recently assisted in catching a stray Yorkie. She exhibited her “I love everyone” attitude for the other dog’s benefit and we were able to get a slip leash on him. He was back with his owners within a half hour.
She loves to go to work with me (she gets treats then sleeps for a few hours). She sleeps behind my desk.
Jade and her brother share a barkbox subscription. She finds them delightful!
Thank you for working to rescue Jade, especially through her illness and issues!
By the way she has an incredible vocal range somewhere between a Siamese cat and a Basenji dog. She can chirp, yip and she has a sound similar to a squeaking door. Nothing overbearing of course.
Thank you! Jade is doing very well and I’m quite happy with her.
