When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: August 12, 2018
Pet’s AARF Name: Duchess
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Lola
How is your adopted pet doing? Lola is great! She is now 4 months old and weighs 30 lbs! Some of her favorite things include her stuffed animals (“Bunny” and “Teddy”), Nylabones, Kong balls, and rope toys. She also loves to nap, especially on hardwood floors with her tongue out. She greets are neighbors and other furry friends with a big smile, tail wag, and sniff. One neighbor even remarked, “She’s the talk of the neighborhood. She is so sweet!” Lola knows how to sit, shake, and lay on command. She uses her training bell to alert us when “it’s time to go” and has officially completed potty training. Lola is a growing girl who is not scared of anything besides the vacuum, weed eater, and mower. She loves to try to catch flying insects, chase rabbits, and meet new friends.
Taylor and I have been blessed with such a sweet, precious girl. It is hard to imagine our life without her in it. She definitely has us wrapped around her “paw”. We are so thankful for Lola’s foster mom, Rebecca Samon and AARF for finding her and her siblings, providing a loving home, and selecting us as her parents.
