When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: April 2018
Pet’s AARF Name: Beau
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Jekyll
How is your adopted pet doing? Jekyll is fitting into our family like it was meant to be! He loves his puppy brother (they play HARD) and is super affectionate to his humans. He loves to snuggle with my 11 year old daughter. He was not trained on all his commands, but we work every day and he’s starting to enjoy training I think. He’s learned “sit”, “down”, and “paw” so far. We’re currently working on “Leave it” and hugging on demand, since he’s such a hugger anyway! He loves being active and seems to enjoy running with me, although only trail running, because he’s car reactive and can’t handle road running yet! That’s another thing we’re working on! We’re making progress, even if it’s a bit slow and with his few quirks, he’s just the best dog. He’s playful, affectionate, and really wants to please. He’s been going to Doggy Daycare with his brother and he’s hands down a favorite of the staff there. I’m so happy to have him in our home and so thankful that AARF chose us to be his family.
