Tell us about them and how they fit into your family.: Hank was almost 4 months old when we adopted him. He is the best puppy ever. He was so easy to train and only had one accident since we got him! He loves the acreage we have for his many curiosities to explore. He is an explorer but frogs are his favorite. When he is inside with us he is a lap dog:) We have never had a more loving sweet dog. His main thing is giving us love and cuddles:) He sleeps with us and gently wakes us with he sweet kisses. He is such an important part of our family and our joy! Thank You AARF, Naomi & Mike

Tell us about them and how they fit into your family.: “Carmen” was part of a litter known to us as the Cumberland litter that was rescued by Scottsville Vet Adoption just outside of Rochester, NY. The litter came arrived to Scottsville on June 18th and we saw her at a Petsmart adoption event on June 20th. It was love at first sight! She is quite the charachter, very smart and goofy. Even though she comes from the south, she loves the snow! I’m so thankful she was rescued, love her to pieces!

Tell us about them and how they fit into your family. Ike is a ball of pure energy! He keeps us busy from 5:30 am until 11 pm. He is our sweet baby and we are beyond thrilled that he in our lives. He loves to chew on his bones and play with other dogs at the park. He is our inquisitor and loves to investigate everything he comes into contact with. He sleeps on the bed with us every night and wakes us up before the alarm clock goes off. He loves peanut butter and his doggie ice cream treats. He will be getting a sibling later this year!

Tell us about them and how they fit into your family.: She is doing great!! She is romping around are yard and loves her new family!! She is a very smart dog and is getting along great with our other animals. I am so happy with her I can’t believe the great feeling of giving a beautiful dog a life long home! We love our Dakota!!

Tell us about them and how they fit into your family.: Kallie is doing great. She is active and healthy. Vet said that she will get no bigger. She weighs 15# and is short and stocky. So cute and loveable. She has bonded well and quickly with our family and her new buddy Oreo a border collie. they do everything together. I am so thankful to everyone at AARF for allowing me to adopt her. Love her so very much and she is such a joy. (even with her little feisty attitude)

Tell us about them and how they fit into your family.: We adopted our puppy Buddy in October 2013, then he was named Petey. , since my husband’s name is Pete and he is now my son’s best buddy, the name just fit! When we got him , we went right to the vet, the Vet said” whered you get him”, is he always so calm and sweet? You have quite the healthy happy puppy!. Buddy is as sweet as you can get, he loves my son and waits for the school bus! He came to us already knowing how to sit for a cookie, he walks great on a leash and now will ring the bell on the door to go outside. We are so happy we adopted him and cant say enough about this agency or his transport. “got orphans transport” It all went so smoothly and have made us very happy! I think Buddy is a pretty happy guy too! He is so loved!!

Tell us about them and how they fit into your family.: I adopted Murphy after suddenly losing another furbaby and he immediately fit in and started healing my heart. Murphy is a wonderful playful and happy boy who would be content to cuddle all day if that’s what a cold winter day calls for. Murphy is also a wonderful traveling dog, I couldn’t ask for a better co-pilot! I am so very proud if him, he did wonderful thru all his training classes and has received his AKC star puppy, AKC canine good citizen and just recently become a certified therapy dog with TDI.

Tell us about them and how they fit into your family.: Atticus loves his new home in New Jersey, where he enjoys long walks, his doggie day care friends, and his mommy and daddy’s belly rubs! Atticus loves to take naps on the big bed, but loves his own doggie bed just as much. Although he has a basket full of his own toys, he often steals some of his feline-sister’s (much to her chagrin). Atticus’s mommy and daddy are so happy to have such a wonderful addition to their family and couldn’t be happier that AARF chose them!

She is precious in every way and she has certainly brought joy back into our home after the passing of our other sweet baby after Christmas. Thanks to Debbie for the numerous texts and phone calls so that I could have everything perfect for Ellie’s homecoming! We are so happy and appreciative for the service that A.A.R.F. provides that we are considering a playmate for Ellie.
