How is your adopted pet doing? It’s been 2 months since we welcomed little Hope into our home and she seems to be adjusting well. She loves our daily walks especially when we see squirrels. She has started spending most of the daylight hours outside where she plays and wrestles with her sister, Honey, and next door neighbor, Annie. Her favorite toy is the floppy frisbee. She and Annie often play tug-of-war with it. She has learned to bring it(as well as balls, sticks, any other toy) back or we can’t play. She has discovered the joys of the kiddie pool as well. She likes getting in right before we go for our walk or just anytime she wants to cool down. When she just wants to chill, she hangs out with big brother Tucker. He has helped her find her voice-they like to bark at deer, turtles and cows. She does still come in at night to lay on the couch and get some loving. We are working on dealing with new situations -getting into a car, strangers, anything different- but she seems to be happy and doing well. Thanks for taking care of her until we found her. We love her lots.
