When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: September 16, 2020
Pet’s AARF Name: Leela
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Punkin
How is your adopted pet doing? Punkin was a shy, reserved kitty when we first got her. She’s come out of her shell so much! She absolutely loves being held and pet behind her ears. Her favorite toy is a plush mouse on a string, and you can find her on the top of her cat tree most of the time. Punkin loves to play with her big sister Stella, and they get closer everyday. Miss Punkin is becoming more vocal too!

Happy Tails For Milo
When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: Sept 2020
Pet’s AARF Name: Milo
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Did not change
How is your adopted pet doing? Milo is adjusting to his new family well. He loves playing ball with his brother Rex, splashing in water and running on the farm. He has learned several new commands in just a few weeks. Sonny did a great job getting him ready for his new home. He came to us house-trained, which was wonderful. He is still getting used to meeting new people, but we are giving him time to adjust to his new life and have started puppy classes. We are grateful to AARF for a great match!

Happy Tails For Winston
When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: August 28, 2020
Pet’s AARF Name: Winston
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Gizmo
How is your adopted pet doing? Gizmo is adjusting very well, he had a upper respiratory infection when we picked him up. He was highly congested and his breath smelled like infection, so we took him to the vet right away. The vet gave him a antibiotics shot and within a couple days his breath got better and the congestion started clearing up. He’s healthy
now and doing great! Our other older cat, Sammy, and he became best buddies within two weeks of slowly introducing them. Sammy watches over Gizmo like a big brother. Gizmo and Sammy love play wrestling and chasing each other through the house. He loves his play time with his new mommy and daddy too. Gizmo is a happy little boy and seemed to know within a day or so that this was his home for good. We love Gizmo, he’s our little Gremlin and that’s why we changed his name within the first few days, he’s definitely a little Gremlin. We are so glad we adopted him. We also got him micro chipped just in case he ever dashes out the door even though he does know he is not supposed to get too close to the door when we come in or leave.

How is your adopted pet doing? Joey is the perfect fit for our family! He’s learning the ropes from our 8 year old dog, Olive. They spend all day running around the yard and taking naps in the sun. Joey is also trying really hard to become friends with the cat. I caught them snuggling in bed the other day, so I’d say his hard work is paying off. We absolutely love him!

How is your adopted pet doing? We ADORE this boy. His new name is Winston, and he is just the best puppy in the world. We get comments constantly on how good natured, well behaved and friendly he is. And obviously absolutely the cutest! He’s quickly become the little prince of the house. The cat disagrees, but she will come around eventually because how could you not love this face?!
