Happy Tails For Jack

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 03-07-2021
Pet’s AARF Name: Jack
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Wrangler Jack
How is your adopted pet doing? Wrangler Jack, we call him Wrangler, is doing great. He made himself at home from the day that he was adopted. He and our 3 year old Corgi, Riley Coyote, are best buddies. Wrangler has done well with potty training and has had a few accidents. Some were our fault and some his, but he is doing better every day. He has done quite well sleeping in his bed in our bedroom at night. He usually makes it through the night, but does have some, anywhere from 1:00 a.m. on, nature calls. It’s good that he lets us know and we get up to let him out. He’s usually wound up after the walk out and when we get back in the bedroom he calms down and goes back to sleep. Wrangler and Riley have their daily routines of playing and napping as well as meals, outdoor exercise and a ride in the Jeep to run errands. The only thing that Wrangler does not enjoy and is still working on is being in his crate when we are gone to the store, doctor’s office or whatever. He barks a lot even with a kong filled with peanut butter. Once he is trustworthy and out of the chewing stage housebroken we will let him roam free in the house and not put him in the crate. Wrangler has been a joy to have as part of our pack and we look forward to the years that we will have together.
