When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: July 19, 2020
Pet’s AARF Name: Luther
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Wrigley
How is your adopted pet doing? Wrigley is adapting well into his new environment. He likes to go for his daily walks, and his daily trip to the dog park to play with his new friends! One of his favorite past times is sitting in the window and watching the hummingbirds. His little tail wags but he never barks at them. He is everything in a dog I could have hoped for. He is very cuddly and affectionate! I absolutely love my new fur baby!

Happy Tails For Cowboy
When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 6\1\2020
Pet’s AARF Name: Cowboy
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Cowboy
How is your adopted pet doing? I was broken hearted when my 12 year old special needs dog died in January. I knew that it would take another dog to ease the lose but I had to wait for the right guy to come along. I kept checking shelters and rescue groups, when I saw Cowboy I knew my prayers were answered. Those eyes got me. Talking to his foster Mom, Nancy, sealed the deal when she told me his owner died in April. He needed me as much as I needed him. Nancy and her husband made the experience very pleasant because I feel I gained friends as well. My rooten-tooten Cowboy found his forever Cowgirl!

Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): River
How is your adopted pet doing? River has been such a light in our life. He is so sweet and loving. He is such a cuddler and a comedian! We go to the dog park every morning to get out some energy and he loves playing with the other dogs. He really likes the woods and loves to hike. He loves to get baths. He is still timid around new people (especially men) but we are working on teaching him that there are lots of good people in the world. 🙂 His cat sister, Joplin, is still getting used to him but loves sleeping in his dog beds and rubbing up against him. We love watching him come out of his shell.

Happy Tails For Winn Dixie
When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 04/05/2020
Pet’s AARF Name: Winn Dixie
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Dixie
How is your adopted pet doing? Dixie is a joy! She is a happy girl. She takes three walks a day and runs like crazy in her new yard. She has met the neighbors and neighborhood dogs and has had several play dates in our yard with neighborhood dogs. While she loves to cuddle, she is very independent and likes to go off to another room in the house for her nap. She is very active but does know how to chill out and look out the window. After two months, it feels like she’s been with us forever. She has finally found her forever family. We thank Ariel and AARF for taking such good care of her until we found her!
