Happy Tails For Olive Lucy
When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: Aug 8, 2020
Pet’s AARF Name: Olive Lucy
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Lucy
How is your adopted pet doing? Lucy is sweeter than candy and blind as a bat. We are learning together and she is adapting so well. I tell her her ways to get to her food and water. She has learned her boundaries in the back yard. She walks the fence line and knows where it is now. I bought a bell to ring so she knows where I am. I feel she is happy, I do hope & pray she is. She loves to go for car rides and for walks. I do have to guide with a leash. She loves her 2 beds one the most but she now knows where I sleep and in the middle of the night she will come get in her second bed. She is so happy when I get up so I can love on her. It’s just her and me and we are good for each other. I’m a chemo patient and she helps me as much as I help her. She is a challenge but its teaching me new ideas to help her have what she deserves. Love Lucy to pieces.
