Happy Tails For Babe

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 03 / 09 / 18
Pet’s AARF Name: Babe
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Co Co
How is your adopted pet doing? Co Co is doing great. She has really progressed from when we first brought her home. She was only crated for 11/2 weeks at night only, until she became familiar with our house and the dog door. She loves being able to go outside any time she wants.I have never had a dog that could run as fast as she can.She chased a wild rabbit down in our back yard and caught it.We live around a lot of farms. Co Co loves looking at the cows and horses and barking at them. She is starting to get better around people that she is not acquainted with.Co Co has became a part of our family.I think she has found her forever home.
Thank You

Happy Tails For Letty

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: 03/17/2018
Pet’s AARF Name: Letty
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Letty
How is your adopted pet doing? She’s doing great. It took her about a week to really get use to our home becoming her home. Her and our daughter, Autumn, have become best friends. They follow each other around all day or Letty will lay on her bed while she plays. We love that she’s such a snuggler even though that sometimes means she lays across our faces because she doesn’t really understand personal space, lol. When she was brought to y’all she had rickets and we’ve definitely noticed how she’s finally gained some weight that makes her look more healthy and she doesn’t get cramps in her legs as bad like when we first got her. She was the perfect fit for our little family.

She goes to work with me where she interacts with other people and dogs, and goes to the dog park every afternoon. She is loving the comfort level in her new home and is wonderfully affectionate, smart, and full of personality. We can’t express our gratitude enough. You-all are doing a wonderful thing.

Happy Tails For Monty

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: March 2018
Pet’s AARF Name: Monty
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Guacamole
How is your adopted pet doing? I was not looking for another cat. I already had two and a dog. But when we went to Petco to check on training for our Great Pyrenees, there was this gigantic beautiful gray cat Klingons back in his bed and staring up at me with his green saucer eyes. I just knew he was mine and he needed to come home with me right then and there. The next day my application for adoption was approved and we brought him home. He was very skittish at first and I got worried he wouldn’t feel at home with three rowdy kids and the other animals but he adjusted quickly. We were warned that he plays rough and it’s been a great source of entertainment watching him and our kitten chasing each other and wrestling. I named him Guacamole because those big green eyes are the exact color of avocados. The kids love him and his funny name. He sleeps on my feet every night and is a great addition to our family.
