Happy Tails For Arnie

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: January 20, 2018
Pet’s AARF Name: Arnie
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Arnie Sugar Pie
How is your adopted pet doing? Arnie is loving life on the water with his new human and animal family. He and our Lab took to each other immediately. He is very loving and doesn’t really know that he isn’t a human too. He has especially bonded to our two year old daughter, Josie. She wasn’t a huge dog fan (cat person) until she met Arnie. They run the house together. She has to tell him good night and give him kisses before bed and finds him first thing in the morning. Arnie has done fabulous since he came to our home. It’s like he has always been there! Thank you AARF for giving us the opportunity to love our Arnie Sugar Pie!

Happy Tails For Gypsy

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: February 2015
Pet’s AARF Name: Gypsy
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Freyja
How is your adopted pet doing? She is doing splendidly! It was rough at first, she had been through several other homes and didn’t do well with our other two babies but she’s my little cuddle buddy now. She likes to ‘cook’ with us, demanding to be picked up while we are in the kitchen. She also likes to inspect everything food wise, meowing until we let her sniff whatever it is. She is bonded with one of my other cats now.

Happy Tails For Kylo

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: January 6, 2018
Pet’s AARF Name: Kylo
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Kylo
How is your adopted pet doing? Kylo’s doing great! We’re so happy he’s a part of our family. He loves his kitty brothers (though we’re working on them loving him too!). We’re all still adjusting but it’s been pretty successful so far. He’s doing well on his house training and obedience training. He still has accidents but they’re very few. Kylo is super smart (sometimes too smart!) and figured out the bell system for he door almost immediately. And he now knows how to lay down and to stay down for a bit! So we’re very proud! He loves to lay down on the couch with us – preferably on top of one of us if he’s tired. And he absolutely loves to chase around empty plastic bottles throughout the house.
