Finn taking a break from a hard day of fetch at Virginia Beach

Happy Tails For Twister

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: February 2017
Pet’s AARF Name: Twister
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Finn
How is your adopted pet doing? Twister – now “Finn” – has been doing great since he moved from Tennessee to Virginia to live with me. I searched high and low to find the right dog for me, and he’s been nothing short of perfect! Ariel spent a lot of time talking with me beforehand and sending me videos of Finn, so that I’d understand just what I was getting into with this little ball of energy. To help give him more structure and exercise, I’ve had him in obedience training for several months and I am hoping to get him involved with agility next. He’s so incredibly smart and driven – he always keeps me on my toes whether we’re just walking in my neighborhood or playing fetch at the beach (his new favorite place) or training at his obedience school. I’m incredibly grateful that I found this little guy, and that Ariel and the AARF team had faith that I’d be a good mom for Finn. When I first got him, I could tell that, although he was a little nervous from the pet transport, he had been loved and cared for while he was with AARF. We’ve been best buds ever since! Thank you!
