Happy Tails For Parsley

When did you adopt your pet from AARF?: September
Pet’s AARF Name: Parsley
Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Parsley Rose
How is your adopted pet doing? There’s a saying I saw recently that goes like this,” Dogs come into our lives to teach us about love. They depart to teach us about loss. A new dog never replaces an old dog it merely expands the heart.” After our two old sheepdogs passed the house just seemed too quiet, so we decided we would like to get a new pup. It was love at first sight with Parsley Rose. She has brought such joy and laughter to the house here in Vermont. She is a loving, happy puppy! She loves to explore the outdoors and especially loves when we go for hikes in the woods. The other day we had our first snow and she thought that was pretty great to play in! She reminds us to see the world anew every day and has expanded our hearts in ways we didn’t imagine. On the day one of our old pups passed, a monarch butterfly flew right in front of us and led us up the walkway to our home. The moment the PETS truck pulled in at White River Junction, a monarch flew past the door of the truck…it sure felt like a blessing from the rainbow bridge to our new Parsley. Many thanks to everyone who helped take care of her and got her safely here to her new home!
