Pet’s New Name (if you changed it): Phoenix
How is your adopted pet doing? I adopted Phoenix in April of 2014 after losing my shepherd, Harley. Harley was also a tripod, and also missing her right front leg. So when I saw Phoenix’s picture I felt it was meant to be. It is also the reason I changed her name to Phoenix, to show new life rising from the ashes. Phoenix and I actively compete in the sport of nosework. She has received her NW1, NW2, L1C, L1E, and L2E titles. At her NW1 she also received the Harry Award for the most outstanding rescue dog who demonstrates the spirit of nosework. At her NW2 she took 3rd place overall in the trial. We continue to compete and can’t wait for what the future holds for us!
