How is your adopted pet doing? We are all settled in to life together, and it is so perfect. Data wakes us up every morning with snuggles, until he decides it’s time for breakfast. He loves sitting in my husband’s lap while he plays video games (the ones set in outer space particularly fascinate him), and watching Netflix with us in the evenings after dinner. He also loves chasing things… we have several fancy feather string toys, but anything will do, even just throwing a sock and letting him catch it. He has a lot of personality — when you talk to him, he’ll cock his head or nod along, and he doesn’t hesitate to vocalize any complaints (like every time he goes to the litter box, and immediately returns to meow at us until we scoop it clean again!). He makes our days so much brighter, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience adopting from AARF.
